BTCC 2012 Classic Plato/Neal battle at Snetterton [01:09]
A classic Plato and Neal battle ends in contact, but with the determination of both drivers they both continued. First, Neal went for a none existent gap tapping Plato causing him to have to tame a huge slide rather impressively, however Plato wasn't having any of this. As they entered the final turns Plato retaliated pushing Neal onto the grass, but Plato following behind him. Fourstardave - "The Sultan Of Saratoga" [02:16]
Fourstardave (1985--2002) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. Fans called him "The Sultan of Saratoga" because he'd won at least one race at Saratoga Race Course each year from 1987 to 1994. He died of a heart attack in October 2002 at the age of 17 on the Belmont Park track yet is buried in Claire Court at Saratoga Race Course. This is a rare honor since only three horses are buried there. He died October 14, 2002 after having been shipped to Belmont Park to take part in a post parade of retired New York-breds on New York Showcase Day. Taken out onto the track in early morning to do light training he had a heart attack while trotting the track clockwise. Fourstardave retired having made 99 starts with a record of 21-18-16 and earnings of $1636560. At Saratoga, the fan favorite set a course record of 1:38 4/5 for a mile and a sixteenth. On the turf he was perhaps best, winning 15 races and almost $1 million. Upon his retirement, he was feted at neighboring Siro's Restaurant, where he was presented with an edible key to the city and had the small lane named "Fourstardave Way" in his honor. In his honor and tribute The Daryl's Joy Stakes at Saratoga was changed to the Fourstardave, now a Grade 2 stakes. In 1997 (at the age of 12) he participated in the High Hope Steeplechase at the Kentucky Horse Park in an amateur event for charity, and finished second. en.wikipedia.org

Cold Cash 123 California Trip [01:10]
Cold Cash 123 is on his way to Los Alamitos Race Course in California. It will be his first trip to the Golden State. He will be training and preparing for some big races yet to be announced. This is the video of his departure from Texas and his family at Gilbreath Racing Stables. It was a touching time for Sleepy, his trainer, as well as Joanie, Manuel and the racing stable crew. The footage and photos in this video were taken by Martin Ivey DVM of Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery.

2012-08-01 Clairwood - race 8 [02:20]
Team G Racing Syndicate filly Lyford Cay offers a sneak preview of what's still to come when winning her maiden over 1600m at Clairwood. After racing widest of all around the bend she moves into contention early down the straight only to be joined and quickly passed by race favourite 'Above Emeralds'. But Lyford Cay isn't done for yet and she re-rallies impressively with her huge stride to pull clear in the closing stages. A meritorious win and a sparkling start to the new season for both Team G Racing and the TGR Syndicate whose stats now stand at 19 runs for 5 wins and 12 stakes-paying places (1st 5).
