Kauto Star – National Hunt Racing

Kauto Star, pronounced “Kor-toe”, seems to be on everyone’s minds and lips especially concerning the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Kauto Star was born the 19th of March 2000. A French bred horse, Kauto Star is presently been trained by Paul Nicholls as a National Hunt racehorse in England.

Santa Anita Park will host the 2008 Breeders' Cup

The year 1986 marked the first time the Breeders' Cup was held at the Santa Anita Park in Southern California, and once again the 2008 Breeders Cup will be held here during the silver anniversary edition at the Oak Tree Meet. The Breeders' Cup horse race has been held at Santa Anita on two other occasions - in 1993 and 2003. 2008 is therefore the fourth year that the Breeders' Cup will take place at this famous race track.
