Jackson Harness Horse Racing Track in Michigan

Jackson Harness Raceway’s live racing calendar begins in April and carries on into July. With 24 race programs in the season there is plenty to keep keen race enthusiasts entertained. The harness racing track is a length of ½ mile with a breadth of 70 feet. The speed rating is 2:02.3. Six starters can begin behind the gate. Race post times are typically at 7:30 pm. Jackson Raceway was opened in 1948 and has seen a number of improvements and adjustments since then. Substantial crowds flock to view the top standardbred champions and their riders fighting to cross the finish line. The grandstand has a capacity of 6 500 so there is plenty of room for everyone who enjoys harness racing. Admission is free at the moment and parking costs just $1,00.

The Sulky Lounge at Jackson Harness Raceway offers delicious treats for hungry patrons.
