Remington Park Horse Racing Track in Oklahoma

Remington Park in Oklahoma City is a fantastic race track with a full calendar of quarter horse and thoroughbred racing. In addition to the exciting live racing, the facility boasts fantastic simulcasting and the new Remington Park Casino, so the good times don't stop for horse racing enthusiasts.

Remington Park Racetrack was opened in 1988 by Edward DeBartolo Sr. Open every day of the week throughout the year, Oklahoma City’s Remington Park continues to attract large crowds of racing fans and bettors. The quarter horse racing season is hosted from March to June, whilst thoroughbred racing takes place from August through to November every year. Featuring a schedule full of thrilling stakes and handicaps, Remington Park Racetrack should not be missed. The main track is a 1 mile dirt oval with a width of 100 feet. An inner turf course of 7 furlongs is used for several of the race meets. The final stretch from the last turn is a generous 1,025 feet. A number of excellent live races are hosted on Thursdays to Mondays, amongst these are the Edmund Handicap, Remington Futurity, Remington Park Derby, Silver Goblins Stakes and the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. Memorial Breeders’ Cup. Post times are typically 6:30 pm in the week and 2:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Eager Racegoers can enjoy some of the best facilities around, such as Remington Park’s climate-controlled glass-enclosed stadium. Each level of the impressive structure offers a fantastic view of the surrounding land. All around the facility patrons will find television monitors featuring images from the live races, replays, wagering odds and statistics. Every level of the stadium has concession stands and pari-mutuel windows. The Infield park offers great recreation for the entire family with beach volleyball, a playground, picnic tables, TV monitors, and wagering windows. On the track level you will discover a racing information center, children’s video arcade, the Junior Jockey Club, gift shops and the Trackside Cafe. Remington’s penthouse level has an amazing Equine Art Gallery.

When live racing action isn’t available, there is still plenty to do at Remington Park. Simulcast racing and wagering allows visitors to keep up with racing events from around the country. Remington Park Casino boasts 650 slot machines as well as a number of fantastic dining options, LCD monitors and much more.
